In-Person Visits Overview

Marist is excited to welcome you to our campus! We offer a variety of visit options and are open seven days a week nearly year-round. Read on for our visit options, or check out a calendar view of all available on-campus visits here.

Spring semester visits are available seven days per week from late January to early May, with some exceptions. The summer 2025 visit calendar will be available in late April and will be offered from June to mid-August.

Fall 2024 Open House

Join us for our Fall Open House and experience our beautiful, riverfront campus firsthand. Open House will take place on November 9. Learn more about Marist’s academic experience, the admissions process, and get an inside look at life as a Red Fox! You'll have the opportunity to hear directly from students, faculty, and staff about what makes the Marist Community so special.

30-Minute Information Session followed by a Guided Tour

Learn all about life as a Red Fox through an information session with one of our experienced Admissions Counselors. Then, head out for a guided tour of our beautiful, riverfront campus.

Typically offered year-round, seven days a week, with some exceptions.

Guided Tour Only

Walk with an experienced tour guide through our beautiful, riverfront campus. See where you'll live, learn, eat, and spend the best four years of your life.

Group Visits

Group visits are designed for students (grades 9-12) coming from a specific school or institution that are interested in visiting our campus together.  

Transfer Information Session & Tour

Considering changing colleges? Attending a transfer information session and tour is the best way to experience life on the Marist campus and learn about all the opportunities available to you here as a transfer student.

 

Transfer Instant Decision Days

If you are considering transferring colleges, this exclusive opportunity will allow you to meet one-on-one with a Marist transfer admission representative and receive an admission decision on the spot!

 

Shadow Days

Experience a day in the life of a Red Fox by shadowing one of our enthusiastic student Ambassadors for a class, meal, and free time on campus!

Day in the Life of a Cybersecurity Student

Experience a day in the life of a Cybersecurity Student! You'll have the chance to meet faculty and current students in our Cybersecurity program, tour our labs, and participate in an interactive classroom activity and lunch

 

Sunset Tours

There is nothing quite like a sunset over the Hudson River on the Marist campus. And the only way to truly experience it is to see it for yourself on a sunset tour of campus. 

Please note, Sunset Tours will occur weekly from late March to Early October.

 

We are excited to welcome visitors to our beautiful campus, and we look forward to showing you all that Marist has to offer while ensuring the health and safety of all of our visitors and our community. Marist reserves the right to modify our on-campus safety protocols as they pertain to campus visits based on current public health guidance. Our current policies are as follows:

 

Registration

We require pre-registration of all of our visitors. Students are permitted to bring up to 3 guests.

 

Health & Wellness

If you are feeling ill or have recently experienced any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you do not travel to Marist at this time. We encourage you to participate in one of our virtual programs, or contact our office so we can best assist you in learning more about Marist!

 

Masks

Marist is currently a mask optional campus. We encourage a “mask friendly” approach, whereby those who wish to wear a mask respect those who do not, and those who do not wish to wear a mask respect those who do. As a campus community, we ask that everyone demonstrate empathy and understanding toward each other!
